Been fishing since I was 10. My father made wicker fishing baskets for the like of Marks and Marlow; Savages, Tom Watson's; Calcotts; etc., Have old Steve Calcott (RIP) who taught me to seed fish. Like fishing with tares, hemp, maple peas etc., Active member of NPS until Serious Motorcycle incident in 199 and 2004 (the latter at which I was lucky to servive) doing 18 years as their Secretary.

Saw Steve had a vision for the pond and assited him getting over the red tape, appointed Vice-Chairman but prefer to leave admin to others. I have other interests in setting up a Community Group in Annesley and more importanatly spending time with my Grandchildren aged 4 and 2, which I failed to do with my children when they were growing up.

I'm sure that this will be a project which will benefit not only fisherman but younsters as well and give them a fresh approach to conservation and the appreciation of nature.
