Any body who would be interested in a match at the pond in the next 2-3 weeks could you leave some feedback towards the idea. I am wanting JUNIORS - SENIORS for the forth coming matches.

Thanks craig (bailiff)

There will be junior matches mate if we can get enough interest have a word with Simon he is match Secretary
He will be sorting all the matches out so we don't get double bookings

Brill mate, is he on the forum because I want to ask him a question then, if not could you ask him. What is the max age for a junior match? Hopefully 14 because 15 year olds will probably thrash us Laughing (not that im bad) Wink

Thanks

dont let it worry you about getting beaten when you first start match fishing. just keep practicing and watching other anglers dont be afraid to ask them questions if your polite you will find that they will allways be willing to show you and explain what and why they fish a certain way or have changed a rig when they are fishing.
you are lucky really my daughter is to old for the juniors , by time she was 15 she had 57 trophies inc twice 16 and under cambridgeshire 16 & under overall champion, cambridgeshire girls under 18 champion and also had fished for 3 different junior nationals for different teams.
Just keep practising watching dvds ect when i com up to pond yur welcome to come down and fish/ watch

We are going to start getting some matches organised shortly, i am away till saturday, but when i get back we will make a start. We will also be having some junior matches too at some stage, and providing we can get enough interest. The junior matches will be for under 16's, as thats the age limit for our junior members, and dont worry about getting beaten, i have seen some brilliant young anglers, some can put the older ones to shame.

The first match we have will be the Chris Elsby memorial match. I'll sort a date out soon, Steve, probably looking end of June

No problem at all for Haydens match, the closest weekend date for that would be the 1st or 8th of September. Let me know when you would like it, Saturday or Sunday, either before or after the 5th, and we will work it out for you.
